this worked well for me!
i did my putting today…
is it 15 minutes a day i’ve been playing for 5 months my drives are getting better but i do miss a lot of short putts and my putting is the worst part of my game
mark is a very nice guy he was just at a tournament i attended in Davison, MI
discraft RULES !
@chinaskies gotta make do kid! you don’t play in the snow around here, you miss out on 3-5 months of disc.
this vid is awesome. I went from about a 30% putter to about a 75% putter!
IM starting this today i do know my putting is the worst in my game
@chinaskies love snow frolfing!
I am a future educator and the way he teaches should be promoted through our education system.
Mark today is the 3rd of February I have 30 days to the Memorial,.. I am already in over my head but figure its a great layout and schedule for the pros. I am going to put this to work here in San Diego and Commit to the program for unconditional confidence. Many thanks.
He reminds me of Bill Engvall
welcome to wisconsin haha
disc in the snow wtf?
it’s so true…i just started this past week and so far i stink at putting which doesn’t make you feel like you can do it.
this was an exceptionally helpful video im so glad i found it.
i agree with this guys views on confidence. It’s all about if you think you can vs you know you can.
This shit really does work…..i tried it
bfd, nobody cares and you don’t see any world class players turbo-putting.
I didn’t know what you meant at first but yeah thats great Hhaha lol
Yeah i only use turbo putting. Its simply the best way to do it. I can putt about 25ft and get it like 75% of the time, and i started playing like a week ago.
your confidence must be at an all time high. keep tearin it up Pat.
he looks like the gerber baby.
dude.. i just turbo putt. Its so easy and you can nail them from 20-30 feet like 85% of the time once you get the feel of the throw.
listen to his scream at :07 roflrofl
i put that 6 iron up your azz and twist HAHAHAHAHA
There’s a lot of different types of grips that are taught - the overlap grip (most popular), the interlock grip, the baseball grip, the double overlap (Jim Furyk), the reverse handed grip (Josh Broadway or Chris Couch (Chris uses it around the green), etc. So I would say that there is no “right” grip, since there are so many that work. If you like it, it makes sense to you, and it works for you…then I’d say go for it.
hi thanks for the advice!
i was recommended to place my left hand on the grip with my thumb pointing upwards. You then wrap your right hand over the top, creating a stron grip.
Is this right?
Absolutely… Majors have been won with all three grip styles…
If that’s the ones that works best for you, then I’d definitely say to go with it.
baseball bat grip always works best for me… i cant get any farther drives with any other grip, and im always afraid the club’s gonna slip out.
i would go with wutever feels more comfortable, but if it were my situation i would look at the pros and see wut they use. if wut they use is comfortable and it works for you, go for it.
thanks friend
Yeah, there are definitely different grip options that you can use successfully. I’d say just go with the one that makes the most logical sense to you.
this is a great video but i have been told different grips by many people. do i just go with the grip that is most comfortable to me or?
You bet.
Generally the top hand for a neutral grip has the thumb straight down the shaft. For the bottom hand, there’s some people that say it should be straight down & also touching your index finger…& some say it should be crossed over the shaft. I’ve done both, they both work fine.
There’s any number of acceptable grip variations like that which work. For consistency sake, pick something & go with it. Making frequent changes (even subtle ones) makes it hard to develop consistency.
Great tips for us amatuers thanks Jaacob.
Are My thumbs ment to be in a straight line? and is there ment to be a gap between them?
I think my grip is my single biggest problem.
Thanks! Andy.
Glad to help.
Good tip.
