Golf Fitness Equipment to Put Into Your Golf Workout

Golf Fitness Equipment to Put Into Your Golf Workout

You are practicing on your game but you want to hit the driver farther and straighter. A good teaching professional could help you but you do not want to spend all of that money. Golf fitness equipment may be the answer for you. Many times the students we teach are not flexible enough to reach the correct golf swing positions. This is where we have to improvise as teachers and players. With this in mind, it is easier to make one lever move the same direction every single time as opposed to two levers.

The golf fitness equipment that you need may be as simple as an exercise mat. With an exercise mat, you will be able to improve your flexibility by doing golf-specific stretching exercises. There are many golf fitness books that spell out a golf flexibility program for you. Whatever you do, before you start a rigorous golf workout or golf stretching program, be sure to consult your physician for approval.

So, what should an ideal golf fitness flexibility program consist of and what types of golf fitness equipment should it include?

Your golf fitness program should have many variations such as a long version for regular training days and a short version for Pre-Round Stretching. A variety of golf fitness equipment will help keep you interested in your workout. A few variations with the large exercise ball should also be included. Using the golf exercise ball during your golf specific workout is extremely important for the golfer as it allows you to work out your core muscles. Your pre-round stretching routine you can do even with a couple of stretches with a couple of golf clubs to do just before tee-off and between holes if necessary.

Your stretching and workout program should be thorough. The program should address your head and neck and go all of the way down to the feet. Why is this? The reason is because the golf swing is a movement of the entire body.

Your program must be symmetrical for your body. This simply means that what you workout or stretch or workout out on one side of your body, you also need to do the same on the other side. This is the true key to maintaining optimal muscle, tendon and joint balance on both sides of your body. This allows for enhanced golf swing power without a large increase in swing effort. In addition and more importantly, you will keep your body equal on both sides.

The program must include several key compound stretches. Compound stretches elongate several joint areas at the same time which will mimic natural movement patterns. This also allows the golfer to be more accurate through enhanced fitness flexibility, body awareness and control.

You should feel good afterward. This type of stretch routine or golf specific workout using golf fitness equipment should make you feel as if your posture is immediately better and you should feel stronger. You should almost feel like you could rip the cover off a ball if you were to hit one right after your golf fitness stretch routine.

Golf fitness equipment for your workout can vary depending on what you are attempting to improve. Many successful golf workout programs use golf fitness equipment such as free weights, weighted practice clubs, resistance cords, medicine balls and an exercise mat.

Customized Your Golf Equipment and Accessories

Customized Your Golf Equipment and Accessories

In today’s world, it seems that almost any topic is open for debate. While I was gathering facts for this article, I was quite surprised to find some of the issues I thought were settled are actually still being openly discussed.

How can you put a limit on learning more? The next section may contain that one little bit of wisdom that changes everything.

You can have any number of personally detailed golf accessories. Customized golf equipment, accessories or paraphernalia is a wonderful gift ideal for the golfer in your life. It is also a wonderful purchase for your own golf needs. Golf clubs alone have some original accessories that are easily found and made more special with personal touches.

The idea of personalizing golf equipment can begin with the gold bag that carries the precious cargo of your clubs. Monograms stitched into the leather or canvas is an unobtrusive way to show ownership and also to personalize. Using monogrammed golf towels or using golf balls with your name on them is a great way to personalize the golf scene without being tacky or presumptuous. And you never know when a large bag of discount personalized golf tees could really come in handy.

Golf clubs with the owners name engraved in them is the beginning of a long list of wonderful personalized and customized golf equipment. Needing golf clubs that vary from the ordinary in height, length or strength is what customizing is all about. You will discover there is a whole retail world out there that thrives on customization. Golf clubs are indeed just the beginning.

Golf apparel is no exception to the personal side of golf. Comfortable and affordable clothes, shoes, hats and umbrellas are just a few of the enormous choices available for personalized golf. With discount and wholesale golf apparel shops offering every affordable style is made available to the golfing public there is no reason not to be original in your appearance on the golf course.

So many great gift ideas come to mind when you think about customizing and personalizing golf equipment. Head covers can boast the family crest or they can even be a knitted gift from your teenage daughters for your birthday. Either way they are equally cherished for their unique sentimental value.

Customizing your vacation to include a home rented in advance in Augusta, Georgia for a personal view of the Masters can be an amazing way to show your loyalty to the sport of golf. Being up close and personal to such an event is something planned well in advance and could be in some cases a once in a lifetime occurrence. Customized and personalized can go hand in hand and need not be so expensive. Creating your own tournament for a good cause is always a fun project for the entire family or helpful organization.

Customizing your golf accessories can range from the practical to the outrageous. Installing seat warmers or air conditioners in your golf car might seem a little extravagant to some people. If you are serious about your golf these accessories and customizations are deemed a necessity. A seat warmer or range finder may seem trivial in comparison to some extravagant examples. Golf cars that look like the SUV in your driveway may seem a little excessive. If you have the money to indulge in such luxuries than so be it. Who said a Rolls Royce golf car was over the top?

As your knowledge about Customized and Personalized Golf continues to grow, you will begin to see how Customized and Personalized Golf fits into the overall scheme of things. Knowing how something relates to the rest of the world is important too.

Golf Equipment - Driving or Duffing

Golf Equipment - Driving or Duffing

Woah, keep the wallet in your pants big boy. We’ve got some explaining to do first. Basic golf equipment of some kind is a must for anyone looking to take up this ancient game. Golf equipment like a good set of golf clubs, comfortable golf shoes, and a roomy but practical golf bag are essential to start your golfing adventure. But don’t go overboard here. Your just learning the game after all, and while good golf equipment is essential, there’s no point in blowing a whole wad before you really decide how much you like the game of golf and vice a versa. And as with many sports, the ultra high tech, high performance golf equipment won’t really make a big difference to the beginner or for that matter average golfer. After a few years, once you’ve achieved brilliance on the course, and are beginning to pass the average to above average skill level, then it’s time to consider the more advanced golf equipment.

Hitting The Clubs

Your clubs are probably the first piece of golf equipment to consider for an upgrade, once your on the verge of challenging Tiger for the crown. You could decide to replace the entire set of clubs, if money is no object, and your appetite for golf domination has no bounds. But there is another option to consider. There are probably many golf clubs in your bag, that haven’t seen the light of day, or the green of a course since the last time you paid for drinks on the nineteenth hole. So, maybe you should just consider gradually replacing the clubs you really use with new high performance clubs. The next few times you go golfing, don’t just keep track of the strokes on each hole. Take an extra golf score card, and just track of the golf clubs you use for each hole. A little more work, but after a few weeks, you should have a pretty good idea of which golf clubs you use the most, and which are just coming along for the ride. You may want to make up your own little custom golf club score card just for this exercise.

These Shoes Were Made For Swinging

Comfort is of course a major consideration when choosing golf shoes. You’re going to be traipsing across eighteen fairways (or more), and you don’t need to be doing that in blisters. A good grip and solid support are also important in picking out golf shoes. As with many sports, a good base (your feet) can make all the difference in the world. Proper foot positioning, and support, are essentially the beginnings of a great golf swing. The pros, or staff at a good golf equipment store can be helpful in choosing a pair of golf shoes that are appropriate for you. Don’t be afraid to spend in this category, as it is practically impossible to blow the bank on a pair of shoes, and your feet will love you for it.

Golf Goes Bizzare

Alright, I’m sure you’ve seen all the contraptions, and medieval like torture devices in the infomercials guarantying to take strokes off your golf game. Well, like I said in the first paragraph, put away the wallet big boy. Instead find your self a good golf pro instead. I’m sure every golf course you frequent has a pro of a least dubious stature. Ask around a bit, and see if any of your other buddies had good success with a pro. Setup some regular lessons, and put in the practice time. That’s the best sure fire way to improve your game. And then, once your golf game has ascended stratospheric levels, maybe you can justify buying those ultra super fantastic new clubs you’ve been drooling over all season.

Purchasing Quality Golf Equipment at Affordable Prices

Purchasing Quality Golf Equipment at Affordable Prices

Perhaps one of the most important factors in influencing the decision to start any new sport is cost. Golf unlike some sports requires a plethora of golf equipment from the beginning including golf clubs, accessories, balls, shoes and suitable clothing – especially if you’re considering to take-up the sport in winter; put simply, golf equipment is a huge part of the game and entry costs such as lessons, membership and driving range fees can be equally so.

Before the dawn of online retailing the pro shop, franchised high street store and direct mail organisations held the monopoly on ‘expensive’ golf equipment. Ever increasing overheads were inherent to such retail outlets – with margins especially tight on top branded golf equipment – retailers were faced with two options; absorbing (to a point) all overheads or increasing their prices.

As a beginner you’ll most likely be looking to invest in a beginner’s set of clubs. If like so many of us you’ve tried out the local driving range with a selection of used golf clubs – you’ll probably have noticed a pro-shop within the club house. If you take a look at the price of an average golf club set, you’ll notice that the price will most likely be over your budget; the same is also true for other items of golf equipment including golf shoes and balls.

A Saturday morning trip to your local shopping centre can also provide an opportunity to find new golf equipment – large high street chains like JJB and Sports Soccer both stock a limited range of equipment for the beginner. Prices can appear on the surface to offer exceptional value; golf sets from £99.99 for example. Unfortunately, like all ‘high-street’ retailers - the price will reflect the enormous overheads of retailing offline. Choice is another factor often missing in the high street; these stores are limited to the number of lines they can carry for one sport – ‘one-size-fits-all’ is common-place in the high street.

The Internet on the other hand offers a wealth of discount golf equipment. The Sports HQ (www.thesporthsq.com) for example offers the complete package for golfers – stocking hundreds of lines from well-known manufacturers and offering exceptional discounts on its exclusive range of golf brands including Confidence, Prosimmon, Texan Classics and Chicago Golf. These brands are produced exclusively for The Sports HQ – shipped direct from the manufacturer and supplied through one of the many websites operated by the group including: TheSportsHQ.com, Golfballs.co.uk, GolfGear.co.uk and JuniorGolf.co.uk

From a beginner’s perspective an online store like The Sports HQ can provide the complete golfing outfit within budget and delivered the same week. Like many of us feeling the squeeze in the current economic climate – purchasing a complete golfing outfit for the beginner – on a budget, is a tall order. It can often prove more expensive purchasing individual items of golf equipment in the long term instead of purchasing the entire outfit from the start.

Online retailers can pass on incredible savings to the customer through low overheads, stocking more lines and supplying golf equipment direct from the manufacturer. A beginner’s set of clubs for example can be purchased for less than fifty pounds – including a stand bag; again, the benefits of retailing online become apparent – the golf set in question can be purchased in men’s, ladies and left-handed editions. If you’re searching for a perfect gift at Christmas for a junior golfer – golf sets can be purchased at JuniorGolf.co.uk from £29.99 – the new junior golf equipment website from Sports PLC.

Any newcomer to the game on his or her first experience of a golf course will find themselves having to invest in a pair of waterproof golf shoes and a plentiful supply of golf balls. A quick browse of The Sports HQ website reveals enormous savings on both items of golf equipment – two pairs of leather (waterproof) golf shoes for under thirty pounds; 2-dozen lake balls (perfect for any beginner prone to losing balls) from £4.99.

Suddenly the reality of purchasing an entire golf outfit on a budget is a reality – most online shops will offer one shipping charge when multiple items are purchased at the same time – items can also be delivered the next working day at a small additional cost.

The Sports HQ is part of Sports PLC - the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of factory direct golf equipment including golf clubs and complete package sets in men’s, ladies, junior and left-handed editions at the lowest online prices.

The Fun of Playing Golf and Tips on Buying Golf Equipment

The Fun of Playing Golf and Tips on Buying Golf Equipment

Summertime is just around the corner and the amount of things people can do outside is almost endless. People that are active and really enjoy being outdoors usually get involved in their favorite sports. One of the most played sports during the summer is Golf. Golf is a game that can easily be learned. To learn golf all one needs is time, patience, and some equipment.  It takes time to learn which clubs to use and how to drive and putt properly. Playing golf means being with nature. The sport entices you to get up early in the morning and play the game in the company of friends. Golf provides a great form of relaxation and escape from the daily pressures of life.

There are many variations of golfers from the beginner to the average to the skilled. It may take several years of practice and playing to develop your golfing skills.  No matter what skill level you may be, there is essential equipment for every golfer. These essentials include: balls, tees, shoes, clubs, and a nice bag to carry all the equipment. To properly equip yourself with these essentials, it is important to be honest with yourself about your skill level. The rookie golfer will not be starting out with expensive equipment if he or she is honest with their skill level; whereas, a skilled golfer will be matching his or her skills with better equipment.

Golf has been around since the 15th century and has evolved itself in the social market as the sport of the leaders and business people. Because of golf’s social effects, many business managers find time to provide tournaments and matches. In fact golf is informally known as the sport of the “business world”.

GOLF ESSENTIALS

The most important equipment for the golfer is the clubs. As stated earlier it is important to purchase equipment that matches your skill level. Also the reason you find yourself at the golf course is another factor to consider when buying clubs. If you are a beginner and play with friends just for the fun of playing, a basic set of clubs may be for you. If you are at the golf course as an avenue to build social relationships then you might want to buy clubs that reflect elegance and classiness that make a good statement in the business world.

CLUBS

Golf clubs are categorized into four key types:

IRONS…Irons are usually used when shorter more detailed shots are required, or when the play involves shots that are moving towards the greens. Irons feature thin club heads with grooves on it. Experienced golfers prefer a blade style iron which has a full back, while beginners prefer a cavity-back style which has a hollow back. The cavity-back style is hollowed out to create a perimeter weighting effect which is helpful for less experienced golfers. Irons are categorized as long (1,2,3,4), mid (5,6,7) and short (8,9). Short irons are easier to hit with than the long irons. The shorter irons also create more loft on the ball which is better for beginners.

WOODS…Woods are typically long clubs and are used for making long shots. Woods are characterized by their shaft length that range from 40 to 46 inches. Because of their length, woods are the hardest clubs to control during a swing. Most golfers will have a driver, called a #1 wood, and a couple of fairway woods which are #3 and/or #5 woods.

HYBRID WOODS…These clubs combine features of woods and irons. They combine the “straight hitting” feature of the irons and the “low center of gravity” feature of woods with higher lofts. They are great for beginners who may not want to buy many clubs to start. Hybrid woods are generally used for long shots in a challenging rough area.

PUTTERS…Putters are generally characterized with low shafts, which are also sometimes short. Putters come in club head styles of blade, heel-toe and mallet. Lengths come in belly putters, standard and long. This club is used to play the greens where short shots are necessary. Putters are also the most used clubs in the game.

TIPS ON BUYING CLUBS

1. Check your budget. There are many brands available. Also the notion that the more expensive the club, the better it is, simply is not true. If you do your home work and read reviews, you will find a club that matches your level of skill and interest. Don’t be afraid of checking out used clubs as they can give you a great club at a great price. www.AmazingSportsProducts.com offers a large selection ofused TaylorMade clubs which will give you a high quality club at a great price.

2. Decide how often you will use the clubs. If you are just starting to play the price will be a more important decision than brand. If you become more proficient and begin to spend a lot more time on the golf course, then naturally a pricier and better quality club will be needed to handle the greater use.

3. Study the differences in brands. Some people can’t tell the difference in brands relating to which is good, better, or best. Again do some homework here. Read reviews and ask experienced golfers for their opinions.  You can also ask a salesmen about the differences in brands, but be careful of their biases in promoting the brand they sell.

GOLF BALLS

Golf balls are the celebrities of the game. Golf balls are made in a variation of designs but should weigh 45.93 grams or less; have a diameter of 42.67 mm or less; and should be symmetrically sphere-shaped.  The complexity of golf balls comes from their transitional periods of change. This is due to the fact the physics of golf balls are based on the materials used in making them. Golf balls today are more effective in terms of  physical performance than in the past. Contemporary golf balls have 300 to 450 dimples which are the primary characteristics that make the balls fly high in the air.

The golf ball is the most skillfully designed ball in sports. There have been thousands of patented designs approved since the 1990’s which makes choosing a golf ball a baffling decision. The many different designs have been made by manufactures in effort to match individual preferences. If the ball is correctly matched to the player’s game, they can increase enjoyment and skill level.

TIPS ON BUYING BALLS

1. Check the structure of the ball.

Two-piece balls are recognized for their distance. They are made of a harder and stronger cover which is resistant to cuts. The compact inner center is made from a variety of materials. The harder the material of the inner core, the further the ball will travel.  The negative aspect of these balls is that they lack the capacity to manage the ball because of their limited spin amounts.

Three-piece balls are constructed for feel and spin. They are made of a softer cover with compact inner core and an extra layer of fabric between the cover and the core that “softens” the blow or impact of the head of the club. This provides improved feel and spin, but loss of durability and distance.

Multi-layer balls are also known as “all purpose” balls. They are made of a durable, soft cover that is separated by many very thin layers which are made up of a variety of materials. These balls have an improved inner core resulting in a ball that gives better all around execution.

2. Know your skill level.

Beginners or high handicap players require a ball that will give distance. They are players that are likely to mis-hit the ball and should choose a two-piece ball because it has a more durable cover. Two-piece balls are also affordable.

Medium skill level or mid handicap players can play with a three-piece ball. This ball has a softer cover to give more feel and spin. These balls offer a faster swing speed and therefore will not suffer distance loss.

Skilled or low handicap players should use the multi-layered ball. These players naturally have developed a quicker swing speed and will achieve extra distance and have the feel and spin benefits.

All the golf equipment, whether clubs or ball, will entail a lot of trial and testing to find the perfect equipment for your playing style and ability.

No matter where you are in your golfing experience, www.AmazingSportsProducts.com can offer you the equipment you need at a price you can afford. Check out our inventory of golf supplies and especially the great buys on TaylorMade golf clubs, which are among the best made.

Nike Golf Equipment

Nike Golf Equipment

Nike are leaders in so many fields of sport, with their apparel, footwear and sporting equipment and by 1986 they had turned their attention to golf.

Nike, primarily, concentrated on golf clothing and shoes, but, by 1998 they had produced their first golf ball and in 2002 Nike Golf introduced forged blade irons and wedges, as well as, titanium drivers.

Nike have had a hard time winning over the traditionalists, but, there is a whole generation of young golfers, who have grown up knowing and trusting the Nike name and, who are willing to accept Nike Golf based on their products capabilities rather than  how long Nike’s association with golf has been.

Admittedly, Nike’s first ventures into golfing equipment were, perhaps, not a huge success, but since that time Nike Golf’s strategy has seemed to be; if it doesn’t work, get rid of it and if it does work, improve it.

The pedigree of Nike clothing and shoes were never in any doubt, but, in 2002 when Tiger Woods switched golf balls to Nike Precision Tour Accuracy and, then, went onto win 3 Majors that season, Nike Golf  equipment received a significant boost to its golfing credibility and announced its intentions as a key player in golfing equipment manufacturing.

In 2000 Tom Stites joined Nike as its top golf club designer and, whilst, some may question Nike’s golf pedigree, no such questions can be asked of Mr Stites, who learned his trade at the legendary Ben Hogan Company, and brought with him a reputation for creating tour quality golf clubs.

Fast forward to 2009 and Nike Golf sponsor some of the leading lights in golf and many of the up and coming talents: Tiger Woods, Trevor Immelman, Paul Casey, Anthony Kim and Michelle Wie. Tiger Woods has, even, played a part in the development of Nike’s Victory Red golf clubs.

Today, Nike Golf are winning over some of those traditionalists to their side and have convinced younger golfers, who are very familiar with Nike’s qualities in other sporting arenas, that Nike are a name to trust in golfing circles, too.

Golfbuyitonline offer a whole range of Nike products from golf clubs, golf balls, stand bags, gloves, as well as, golf shoes and clothing, too.

Golf Tips Involving Golf Equipment

Golf Tips Involving Golf Equipment

Blaming your moves, shots and swings for your golf mis-hits and mishaps? Well, no matter how much time and effort you have been spending over practicing your moves to perfect your game, you still won’t achieve your goal if you use unsuitable or defective types of golf equipment will you?

Now is high time for you to consider the following golf tips that involve checking on your equipment’s quality.

If you plan to choose used golf clubs as beginner’s tools, scrutinizing before purchasing is a must. The club heads, the shafts, and the grips are golf club parts that should pass inspection first before landing a decent spot in your golf equipment cabinet. Another excellent golf tip that will get you through the game is making sure that the set of used golf clubs you’re eyeing have set consistency. It will also help a lot if you check first the price of new clubs vs. used.

A golf tip for a golfer that plans to regrip his clubs: Be cautious. This is because the grips are the only contact points one can access to affect the shot. Before carrying out the regripping, know the core grip of the club and your hands grip size. To determine your core size grip, measure the diameter of the butt of the shaft you’re going to re-grip. The shaft’s diameter should match the grip’s core diameter. In determining your hands grip, the available size grips are regular, mid-size, oversize and jumbo. Use only the best re-gripping materials that will provide optimum performance for your golf clubs.

Another golf tip or advice is that using ill-fitted clubs will be an obstacle to your golf playing success. A golfer must consider his or her body type in choosing the best-fitting equipment to support and deliver his backswings efficiently. Too steep angles in carrying out backswings may be avoided if one selects the perfect fitting equipment available.

Custom golf club fitting makes a better option than just buying new golf clubs. Getting custom fitting golf clubs is a golf tip that translates to a very worthy investment. The uniqueness of each person is attributed to the need of this way of buying new golf clubs. A custom fitting produces golf clubs that specifically suit the height, strength, swing characteristics and club head speed of the golfer.

The type of club shaft also helps in predicting whether you’ll do well in a game or you won’t. There’s a choice between a steel club shaft and a graphite-made club shaft. This golf tip aims to make you realize which type of golf club shaft will benefit your game. Observations tell that the steel club shafts are more preferred by professional golfers while graphite shafts become more popular with women, senior players and beginners. Steel shafts are less expensive than graphite shafts though.

One more golf tip that could help you is that the golf clubs that must be the main content of your bag must suit your skill level. Since various skill levels need various golf clubs, it won’t be wise to just use or bring a golf club that is just lying around. And, don’t ever forget about the maximum golf club load your bag is allowed to hold. You can only bring 14 golf clubs in your bag. No more. No less. Aside from your skill level contemplation, your mastery of a certain golf club and your being comfortable with using it must also be put into consideration in deciding which golf club to hit.

A good combination of the right moves and good choice of equipment will better arm you to become the best golfer you could ever be.

Free Golf Lesson On How To Choose The Best Golf Equipment

Free Golf Lesson On How To Choose The Best Golf Equipment

In playing golf, how do you decide which golf equipment suits you the best? Which type of equipment should you invest your money in? Choosing the wrong equipment could easily affect your golf game. Avoid this at all costs.

To let you make informed decisions, read the following guidelines and keep them in mind when you are shopping for your first golf equipment, be it golf balls, golf shoes or golf clubs.

Do Not Be Afraid To Ask Questions

The first thing that you should do is to ask around. You could ask your relatives or friends, colleagues or even your neighbours. Make sure that they do play golf. You never know but they might be into golf too. Ask them their opinions and get their recommendations on what types of equipment are worth buying and what to avoid.

Another option is for you to just walk into any store and get their advice. These shop assistants would be more than willing to share their opinions and ideas for new golfers like you. After all, they work on commisions aren’t they? Not only is this an efficient way to get information, it is also practical, as you’re already in a golf store and they can easily give you recommendations.

Set Your Goals For Playing Golf

In playing golf, you must remember to know what exactly your goals are. Remember to be realistic and pay attention to what you need rather than what you want. If you can identify your goals before you go shopping, it will save you lots of time and money. By identifying your goals, you would be able to select the types of equipment that you would really need. You would also be able to choose a new set of clubs in a practical manner, rather than spending too much time and money on choosing golfing equipment that you do not necessarily need.

Think also, of the reason you chose golf in the first place. Why not any other sport? Is it because you would like to join your business partners for a four-times-a-year game? Or is it because you really enjoy golf and would spend all your available hours devoting yourself to it? Once you get your priorities straight, you will find that choosing the golf equipment that suits you best is relatively easy.

Be Honest About Your Level Of Interest And Dedication In Playing Golf

Be true to yourself. How dedicated are you to playing golf? Now that you have decided to spend on golf equipment, be honest about the time and effort that you are willing to put into the game. Do you plan on playing often? How often do you want to practise in a week? Will there be lessons involved? If you are not sure about your plans then it is advisable for you to buy less costly golf clubs. However, if you just can’t wait to get into the game and are willing to spend hours perfecting your game, then you should probably think of investing in a more expensive set of clubs.

Should You Go For Second-hand Or Brand New Golf Equipment?

Again, you have to think about your goals and expectations. If you are in the habit of taking up a hobby and then forgetting it after a month or two, then it is better for you to buy used golf equipment. They are cheaper and yet just as effective as new clubs. Should you suddenly decide that you have fallen in love with the game and would like to dedicate your time and effort into it, then go ahead, invest in a brand new set of golf equipment. And, should you decide otherwise, you can always give the used set away or sell it to other new golfers.

Familiarise Yourself With Golf Shaft Options

To all new golfers, it is wise to pay attention to the golf shaft that you are using. The composition of the golf shaft would depend on whether it is graphite or steel. The flex of the shaft reveals how much the shaft bends when the club is swung.

Graphite is a lot lighter compared to steel. It creates a quicker swing speed. On the other hand, steel is more hard-wearing and tough. It is also a lot cheaper compared to graphite.

As graphite is lighter and easier to swing, it is the perfect choice for women and senior citizens. Meanwhile, younger and stronger men tend to opt for the regular and stiff shafts.

Decide Which Golf Club Is The Best For You

A perfect golf swing is invaluable. Golfers who are just now beginning to learn the ways to play need to choose golf clubs that are specifically catered to those with a higher handicap. The best choice would be the irons that weighed in perimeter and backed by cavity. Also, try looking at those hybrid sets. These have long irons (around 4- or 3- or 5-) and are at times substituted by utility clubs.

Remember; think of your goals, your expectations and your needs. That way you can pick the golf equipment that is the best for you.
